A former manager of two group homes stole $2,700 from resident accounts, Fulton County Sheriff’s officials said.
Sarah B. Lathrop, 37, of 327 Route 29, Gloversville, was charged Wednesday with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony.
She was the manager of two Lexington Center homes, one in Johnstown and one in Mayfield. She is accused of taking the money from resident accounts from December 2012 to November 2013.
The Lexington Center contacted the Sheriff’s Department after an audit uncovered inconsistencies in the resident accounts, officials said. Those were then traced to Lathrop.
