The Hershey Bears outshot the Albany Devils, 12-6, in the final period and netted four of those shots to win, 4-1, Friday night at Giant Center.

Albany (34-21-4-7) was clinging to a 1-0 lead provided in the first by Stefan Matteau, but Dane Byers tied the game for the Bears (33-25-4-4) at 9:51 in the third. Chay Genoway scored the game-winner at 14:03, and Brandon Segal had a power-play goal and empty-netter in the final 1:01.
