Boy, 7, injured by car in Schenectady

A 7-year-old boy was hit by a car this evening in Schenectady and sent to the hospital with non-life

A 7-year-old boy was hit by a car this evening in Schenectady and sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are currently investigating the accident, which occurred around 6:43 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, near 809 Eastern Ave., they found the victim with leg and head injuries.

He was treated on the scene by members of the Schenectady Fire Department and transported to Albany Medical Center. He was listed in stable condition Tuesday night.

Police had no further information on the incident.
