WOODRIDGE, N.Y. — Authorities say they've arrested two people who were distributing as much as $10,000 a week in heroin from a home in a rural upstate New York village.

The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office tells the Times Herald-Record of Middletown that a 30-year-old man who lives at the home in Woodridge and a 20-year-old woman from Liberty were arrested last Sunday.

Police say one person was in the process of injecting heroin when officers raided the home, located in the Catskills about 80 miles northwest of New York City.

Officials say they found dozens of syringes, 4 grams of suspected pure heroin, prescription drugs and a ledger used to record sales.

The man and woman were both charged with felony criminal possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell.
