A city man attacked another person with a baseball bat and encouraged his 15-year-old son to use a knife to help with the attack, authorities said.
Karran Deodat, 38, of 27 O’Dell St., faces charges of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal facilitation, felonies.
Police said the incident began around 4 p.m. when he drove up next to the targets at a stop sign at Ardsley and Rugby roads. He is accused of using the bat to hit one man in the head and the other in the arm. His son is accused of using the knife to attack at least one of the men. Both victims required medical attention at Ellis Hospital, according to papers.
