Police are seeking the public’s help in investigating the suspicious death of a dog found near the Haviland’s Cove Beach.

The dog was found near the Hudson River shore on Thursday, described as a small, tan “designer breed” dog. Police said its muzzle and legs were bound, and it appeared to have drowned.

The dog is believed to have been 2 to 4 years old, and to weigh about 12 to 14 pound.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Glens Falls Police Department by phone or Facebook, or call the SPCA of Upstate New York in Queensbury.
