A Palatine Bridge woman is accused of writing five bad checks totaling nearly $800 to the Price Chop

A Palatine Bridge woman is accused of writing five bad checks totaling nearly $800 to the Price Chopper in Rotterdam.

Stephanie Jones, 27, was charged Friday with five counts of issuing a bad check after the Price Chopper Fraud Department asked troopers to investigate, State Police in Princetown said.

Jones issued the checks in the amount of $797.88 on four different days, police said.

Jones is scheduled to appear in Rotterdam Town Court on May 1.
