A city man threatened a woman with a machete at his residence this morning and then sexually abused her, authorities said.
Robert Duncan, 66, address unavailable, faces one count of first-degree sexual abuse, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, and multiple misdemeanors.
Duncan is accused of grabbing the woman from behind at his residence at about 1:30 a.m., holding the machete to her throat and then fondled and groped her, according to papers filed in court.
Duncan is also accused of preventing the woman from leaving, even throwing her phone across the room as she tried to call police, according to papers.
Duncan also faces one count each of fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree menacing and obstructing governmental administration, misdemeanors.
