An Oswego County man received $15,000 in fencing materials from a Schenectady business then stopped payment on the check, authorities said.

Richard Mullin, 49, of Altmar, now faces one count of third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

He allegedly received the material in October from B&H Wholesale Fence Co. and paid with a check. He then put a stop payment on the check. When the company tried to reach him to arrange for payment, they couldn’t, according to papers filed in court.
