Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies announced they have taken a dozen registered sex offenders into custody for allegedly not registering their addresses.
Starting in early January, Deputy Austin Brooks has conducted investigations into registry-related crimes and made a dozen arrests. Those arrested were charged with failing to register an address change as a sex offender.
They are: Leonard J. Sutter, 58, of Schenectady, a level 2 offender; Leo Thomas Riley, 57, of Gansvoort, level 1; Justin W. Jones, 22, homeless, level 1; Lawrence D. Wright, 61, of Greenfield, level 1; Carlin Von Harris, 29, of Rensselaer, level 3; Daniel T. Tucker, 25, of Corinth, level 1; Catrina A. Sumner, 32, of Fort Edward, level 2; Dennis M. Mosher, 28, of Corinth, level 1; Michael H. Wood, 40, of Hadley, level 1; Zind H. Nutting, 48, homeless, level 3; and Roger A. Hayden, 44, of Ballston Spa, level 2.
Also arrested was Benjamin M. Kramer, 32, of Ballston Spa, a level 1 offender charged with failing to register an e-mail address or Facebook account.
