Prestige Services was awarded a 10-year deal for sponsorship and naming rights to the town ice arena

Welcome to Prestige Services Ice Arena.

The town-based vending and dining services company was awarded a 10-year deal for sponsorship and naming rights to the arena off Vischer Ferry Road. The agreement has Prestige paying the town $30,000 per year through the duration of the deal.

Prestige was the highest bidder after the town issued a request for proposals in March. Members of the Town Board accepted the bid during their meeting Monday.

The deal also calls for “signage and logo placement consistent with the ice arena and surroundings.” Also, Prestige must take into consideration the aesthetics of the arena and parking lot, in addition to the competitions that occur at the rink.

The town was seeking a minimum of $20,000 per year for the right to name the facility. The revenue is expected to go back into the facility, where hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of repairs are needed to replace the ice-cooling system and concrete floors. The arena sits in the middle of the Clifton Commons complex, among soccer, baseball and softball fields, a senior center and other recreational facilities.
