Tori Powers threw a three-hitter Friday as Duanesburg warmed up for Monday’s league playoffs with an 8-1 win over Middleburgh in the Western Athletic Conference.

Alexis Lombardoni and Lia Schettine both drove in a pair of runs as Duanesburg, the Southern Division champion, went to 12-0, 14-2 overall.

The Lady Eagles play in the Lake George tournament today, then host Canajoharie, the No. 2 finisher in the Northern Division, on Monday in the WAC Cup semifinals.

Middleburgh, which went to 9-3 in the WAC, plays at Northern Division champ Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville in Monday’s other semi.

Canajoharie beat OESJ, 3-1, Friday, as Syanna Logan threw a four-hitter and Katie Towse went 2-for-3.

Galway used a seven-run fourth inning to beat Mayfield, 9-2, as Shelby Suits knocked in two runs, and Jessi Freebern had three hits.

Catherine Borst and Kaitlyn Kendle combined on a four-hitter to lead Schoharie (9-3, 10-3) past Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Kelsey Schuette and Danielle Phillips both drove in three runs to get Ballston Spa past Niskayuna, 10-0, in the Suburban Council. Ashlyn Kersch got the win, throwing a six-hitter.

Bridget Woolley had a double and single for Niskayuna.

Meagan Sullivan gave up just two hits as Bethlehem beat Mohonasen, 15-0.

Carrie Maniccia went 4-for-4, Emma Downing belted a three-run homer and knocked in five runs and K.K. Palmerino went 3-for-4 with a double for the Lady Eagles, 8-5 in the league.

Eighth-grader Maddie Burns threw a four-hitter, and leadoff hitter Samara Perry went 2-for-4 with a triple and scored three runs as Columbia beat Guilderland, 5-2, for its sixth straight Suburban win.

Alana Vandenburg and Sammy Hart both added a double as Columbia, second in the SC South, improved to 11-2. Guilderland fell to 8-5.

South leader Averill Park beat Colonie, 8-2, to get to 12-1. Colonie fell to 8-5.

Jen Mayette and Zoe Purvis shared a four-hitter as Scotia-Glenville downed Johnstown, 11-0, in the Foothills Council.

Purivs had four hits, and her younger sister, Grace, hit a three-run triple as the 9-2, 10-2 Lady Tartans finished with 16 base hits.

Ruby Daley threw a three-hitter, and hit three singles herself as Albany Academy stopped Voorheesville, 17-2, in the Colonial Council.

Day Stevens and Hannah Smith both knocked in three runs to get Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk past Lansingburgh, 9-2, for its 10th Colonial win.
