Senior John Pascarella threw a one-hitter Thursday as Schalmont beat Cobleskill-Richmondville, 9-0, to close the Colonial Council season.

Joe Wignot and Tyler Smith both drove in two runs for the Sabres, who finished 14-1 in league play. They host Amsterdam in the finals of the Bruce Bouck Memorial Tourmament on Sunday.

Kyle Hartigan hit a triple and single, driving in four runs, as Albany Academy topped

Watervliet, 16-4, to finish 12-3 in the Colonial.

Kyle Lancto and Trevor Francesconi both added three hits for the Cadets. Zach Sierra had a pair of base hits for the Cannoneers.

Nick Chiseri got the first no-hitter of his career, striking out 12 as Voorheesville blanked Fonda-Fultonville, 4-0. Kristian Singh, Alex Paigo and Joe Guerette drove in runs for the 7-8, 10-10 Blackbirds.

Collin Adams had a two-run single to cap a five-run seventh inning as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk edged Cohoes, 8-6, in a game played at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown.

Both teams finished 7-7 in Colonial play.

Ryan Feeney and Mike Landry hit doubles, and Niskayuna used a five-run fourth inning to get past Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 7-5, in the Suburban Council.

Dan Maynard homered and hit two singles for Burnt Hills. Niskayuna finished league play at 10-6. Burnt Hills went 9-7.

Kyle McAlonie broke a 4-4 tie with a two-out RBI single in the ninth, and Justin Yurchak followed with a three-run double as Shenendehowa beat Shaker, 8-4, to finish 15-1 in the Suburban.

Shaker had tied the game with two runs in the seventh and had the winning run at third before Aaron Kalish ended the threat.

Kevin Smith hit a home run and double in a 3-for-3 game, and knocked in three runs to get Columbia past Averill Park, 11-3.

James May had two hits and drove in three runs to get Fort Plain past Berne-Knox-Westerlo, 10-4, in the Western Athletic Conference, giving coach Craig Phillips his 710th win.

The Hilltoppers finished 13-2 in the league, and are 14-2 overall.

Schoharie beat Duanesburg, 12-4, to clinch the WAC South Division title. Mitch Barton drove in three runs with a two-run single and sacrifice fly, and Devoin Brooks also drove in a pair of runs for the 8-5 Indians. Gabe Gentile had an RBI single for the Eagles.

Wyatt Whitman threw a two-hitter as Hoosick Falls beat Greenwich, 3-2, in the Wasaren League.

Tyler McDonough drove in three runs as Lansingburgh beat Scotia-Glenville, 7-1, in a non-league game.

Raiders beat Eagles

Mary Waterman went 4-for-5 with a pair of doubles and a triple, and drove in five runs as Colonie outscored Bethlehem, 18-14, in a SC South finale.

Marisa Sholtes and Lexi Szesnat both added two hits for Colonie, which finished league games at 11-5.

Carrie Maniccia had two hits and drove in three runs for 9-7 Bethlehem.

SC North champ Shenendehowa finished 13-3 with a 16-6 win at Shaker. Melissa Nealon hit three singles, and both Marissa Kirker and Kelly O’Gorman had two hits for the Lady Plainsmen.

Jen Mayette threw a two-hitter as Scotia-Glenville beat Broadalbin-Perth, 15-0, to finish a 12-2 Foothills Council season.

Elizabeth Hosner and Sam Montague both drove in two runs for Scotia, with Ali Stuart adding three singles and Lauren Melanson hitting a single and double.

Cohoes finished up the first unbeaten league season in program history with a 17-1 Colonial Council win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.

Seniors Maddie Dupuis, Bryanna Holdridge and Mariah Roberts all had RBI base hits for the 16-0, 17-2 Lady Tigers.

Schalmont finished Colonial play at 12-4 and clinched the Liberty Division title with a 6-1 win over Cobleskill-Richmondvillle.

Senior Amy Thompson hit a pinch-hit three-run double to highlight a four-run sixth inning for the Lady Sabres. Freshman Emilie Decker hit a single, double and triple and drove in two runs to back Lauren Mahar’s three-hit pitching.

Paige Roberts knocked in the Cobleskill-Richmondville run with a double.

Brianne Egelston pitched a four-hitter, and Cassie Egelston hit a grand slam, a two-run homer, two singles and drove in six runs for Fonda-Fultonville in a 20-2 victory over Voorheesville.

Deanna Lee had two hits and an RBI for Voorheesville.

Wasaren League champion Tamarac went to 12-1 in the league with a 19-1 win over Hoosick Falls as Brianna Matazinsky drove in six runs.

DUTCHMEN CHAMPS

Guilderland won the Section II Class AA title by defeating Niskayuna, 5-3.

The top seed and unbeaten Suburban Council champs got singles wins from No. 1 Alex Fedorov, No. 3 Bill Dong and No. 5 Conner O’Brien, with Dong’s three-set win over Justin Hsu securing the fifth team point.

Guilderland’s second and third doubles teams also won.

Nicholas Lau and Jason Tang won singles matches for Niskayuna, and the Silver Warriors No. 1 doubles team of Timothy Molino and Noah Levine also won.

Albany Academy swept Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 7-0, to take the Class A title. The Cadets won all five singles and both doubles in straight sets.
