Empire State Development President and CEO Ken Adams will speak to local entrepreneurs Thursday about making the most of the state’s initiatives and programs for small businesses.
The chambers of commerce in Schenectady, Fulton and Montgomery counties are hosting the business breakfast meeting at River Stone Manor in Glenville. They have partnered with Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara, D-Rotterdam, who began organizing the event about six months ago.
Chamber of Schenectady County President Chuck Steiner said the goal of the event is to raise awareness among small business owners of the potentially missed opportunities that are out there to grow and create more jobs.
The breakfast will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at River Stone Manor, 1437 Amsterdam Road.
Anyone interested in attending can register on the Chamber of Schenectady County website at tinyurl.com/SmallBizBreakfast. There is an admission fee of $20 per person in advance or $25 per person at the door. For information, contact Santabarbara’s office at 382-2941.
