Izaiah Brown won four individual events to lead Amsterdam to the boys’ title, and Janelle Rothacker and Dani Martino both had a pair of wins as Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake took the girls’ team title at the Group 2 championships at UAlbany Wednesday.
Brown won the 100, 200 and 400 meters, and also was first in the long jump as Amsterdam edged Burnt Hills, 124-119, for the team title.
David Graveley added wins in both hurdles for Amsterdam.
Robery Kirsty took the 800 and 1,600, and ran a leg on the winning 1,600 relay foursome for Burnt Hills.
Mohonasen senior Chris Richardson won the high jump and triple jump.
Rothacker was first in the 800 and 1,500 for the Burnt Hills girls. Martino added a win in the ,3000 and was on the winning 3,200 relay.
Chantel Thomas of Gloversville was a triple winner, taking the 100 hurdles, long and triple jumps. She was also second in the high jump.
