North Central Avenue where it crosses the Anthony Kill will be closed for nearly six months starting June 16, Saratoga County officials announced this week.
The closure is to facilitate a bridge replacement project. The stone-and-mortar bridge that currently carries the city’s busiest street over the creek is going to be replaced with a modern structure under a $3.3 million, federally funded project being administered by the county.
County Public Works Commissioner Keith R. Manz said the street is expected to be closed through Nov. 28. Detours will be marked on city streets.
