The owner of a stolen car spotted the vehicle on the street Thursday and pulled the driver out before police arrived, authorities said.
The alleged car thief was arrested on two felony charges. Thomas D. Braxton, 36, of Duane Avenue, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fourth-degree grand larceny.
He is accused of taking the 1997 Nissan Maxima from Germania Avenue about 4:15 p.m. Thursday. The owner spotted the car on Broadway, near Edison Avenue, and confronted Braxton.
