A Southern Tier resident was arrested Friday as the result of a joint investigation by state and village police into heroin sales.
Cobleskill police said Mouro B. Sow, 20, of Spencer, Tioga County, was arrested on a warrant in his hometown by state police.
During an ongoing investigation by village police and the state police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, police said they learned Sow was selling heroin and subsequently made two separate undercover purchases.
Sow was charged with two felony counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Cobleskill Town Court and sent to the Schoharie County jail on $10,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
