A Corinth man will spend one to three years in state prison Tuesday for driving drunk and stealing.

Saratoga County Court Judge Jerry Scarano sentenced Lance E. Abare Jr., 23, of Pine Street, on his April guilty plea to third-degree grand larceny and misdemeanor DWI. Abare will also be required to have an alcohol-sensing ignition interlock device on his vehicle for one year after his discharge, according to District Attorney James A. Murphy’s office.

Sheriff’s deputies arrested him last August in connection with incidents that took place in Corinth and Hadley.
