Bomb threats forced the evacuation of a pair of Dollar General stores in Schenectady County and one in Stillwater this evening.
Threats were reported against stores in Schenectady, Scotia and Stillwater. The call came in at 7:31 p.m., according to Schenectady Sgt. Matthew Dearing.
“They ran the dog through and didn’t find anything, so they are back open for business,” he said shortly after 9 p.m.
The threat in Stillwater was also unfounded, State Police said. Scotia police did not comment as of press time.
