A Gansevoort man who robbed a Saratoga Springs pharmacy at gunpoint to get hydrocodone pills has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Darin L. Zabor, 48, of Brownstone Court, was sentenced Friday by Saratoga County Court Judge Jerry Scarano after pleading guilty in May to second-degree robbery.
Zabor has admitted he robbed a CVS pharmacy in the city on June 25, 2013. He was accused of taking 4,000 hydrocodone pills during the 12:50 a.m. robbery.
He initially fled the Capital Region, but returned two days later, planning to take a flight to Florida, and was arrested at the Albany International Airport.
In addition to the prison time, Zabor will serve 3 1/2 years of post-release supervision.
