A city man damaged his ex-girlfriend’s car in April and threatened to damage it further if she did not hand over her phone, authorities said.
Miguel A. Martinez-Erazo, 29, of Van Vranken Avenue, faces one count each of third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and misdemeanor coercion and petty larceny. He was arrested Saturday.
Martinez-Erazo is accused of jumping on the woman’s car hood at Yates Village April 24, damaging it. He then threatened to damage it further if she did not give him her phone. She handed over the phone, according to papers filed in court.
