A home health aide from Schenectady has been accused of stealing from a Fulton County client, and state police are looking for other possible victims.
Nicole Sheroka, 40, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, troopers said Friday. She is accused of taking property from a Caroga Lake residence that she had access to through her job as a home health aide for a private company.
She was arrested at her home in Schenectady earlier this week and some of the stolen items were recovered there, troopers said.
Sheroka worked as an aide throughout the Capital Region, state police said. Anyone who may have had her as an aide and has items missing is asked to contact state police at 661-5446
