A Saratoga Springs man who allegedly fired a rifle at people outside his residence last fall has been indicted by a Saratoga County grand jury.
Justin E. Eistertz, 25, of Phila Street, was indicted Friday on a felony charge of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to District Attorney James A. Murphy III’s office. He also faces misdemeanor charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree menacing and unlawful discharge of a firearm. He will be arraigned in Saratoga County Court next Friday.
Eistertz was arrested by Saratoga Springs police Oct. 24, 2013, after they received a complaint from people who said Eistertz came out of his home around 1:15 a.m. and fired a rifle in their direction. Nobody was injured.
In other indictments handed up Friday:
• Vince C. Golish, 52, of Rock City Road, Milton, was indicted on charges including felony driving while intoxicated and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle. He was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Feb. 4 in the town of Milton.
• Steven M. Marnell, 46, of Bay Road, Schroon Lake, was indicted on a felony DWI charge. He was arrested by state police March 21 in Moreau.
