One student was taken to a hospital for evaluation after this Scotia-Glenville Central School bus was hit from behind in the eastbound lane of Route 7 near Watt Street in Schenectady on Friday.

A car rear ended a school bus Friday afternoon on Route 7, sending one child from the bus to the hospital for evaluation.

No serious injuries were reported.

The accident happened on Route 7 near the Home Depot at about 3:15 p.m. At least three children were on the bus from Scotia-Glenville Central School, along with a monitor and the driver.

The driver of the car declined medical attention.

Schenectady police and firefighters responded. It was unclear if any tickets were issued.
