A 14-year-old boy is accused of breaking into Acadia Middle School and taking items from the school.
Saratoga County sheriff's deputies responded to a burglary complaint about 9:15 p.m. Monday. Deputies said the teen entered the school through a window. The quantity and nature of the items he is accused of taking were unavailable.
Following an investigation by deputies and Schenedehowa Central School District officials, the teen, who was identified only as a Shenendehowa student, was charged with third-degree burglary and released to a parent.
The matter was forwarded to the Saratoga County Youth Probation Department.
