Portions of Route 67 will be reduced to one lane starting this week as the state Department of Transportation resurfaces the road.

DOT officials said work will start Wednesday along the Ballston and Milton town border, from Middleline Road west to Paisley Road. When that work is complete, work will begin in the town of Charlton from Route 147 to the Montgomery County line.

Portions of the road will be reduced to a single, alternating lane of traffic from about 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, and traffic will be controlled by flaggers, officials said.
