Ellis Medicine opened its new primary care center Monday in the new Socha Plaza building on Route 50.
The center, which includes a blood-draw lab, occupies 5,500 square feet of leased space on the second floor of the three-story building at 115 Saratoga Road.
The Glenville practice had outgrown its old location — a smaller space up the road that had been its home for 26 years. Last year, the practice absorbed the patient load from a nearby Baptist Health System primary care practice that closed.
A ribbon-cutting kicked off an open house at the new space Monday. The public could tour the facility and meet the physicians and staff.
Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center opened an outpatient physical therapy office on the first floor of the mixed-use building in early July. Albany Medical Center opened a walk-in medical facility on the first floor in late July. Other tenants include Krause’s Homemade Candy of Colonie, Mio Vino Wine Bar & Bistro of Altamont and Brittany Jewelers of Colonie.
