A city woman received more than $3,700 in housing assistance that she wasn’t entitled to by failing

A city woman received more than $3,700 in housing assistance that she wasn’t entitled to by failing to report income from her son, authorities said.

Melissa A. Isabella, of Steinmetz Homes, faces one count of third-degree grand larceny, and two counts of first-degree offering a false instrument for filing, felonies.

Isabella is accused of receiving a total of $3,777 in benefits she wasn’t entitled two from 2011 to 2013 by failing to report income of her son, who was living with her, according to papers filed in court.
