A city woman cut another person with a knife Friday night and then tried to clean up the crime scene, authorities said.

Tamaura C. Collier, 26, of Union Street, is accused of cutting the victim on the left wrist with a large kitchen knife just after 9 p.m. Friday at her apartment, according to papers filed in court.

Collier is then accused of destroying evidence by cleaning the knife and then cleaning up blood evidence, according to papers.

Collier faces one count each of second-degree assault, third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and tampering with physical evidence, felonies.
