A city teen has been arrested for allegedly cutting someone in the forehead as he robbed a store of a can of soda last month, authorities said.

Elijah E. Bradley, 19, of Norwood Avenue, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault, felonies, and misdemeanor petty larceny.

Bradley is accused of taking a can of soda from Adams Deli on Crane Street July 21. In the process, he used a pocket knife to cut the forehead of someone inside, according to papers filed in court. It was unclear if that man was an employee.

The man was taken to Ellis Hospital for treatment.
