Two teens threw rocks onto the Thruway at passing vehicles, state police said.
The teens, one age 15 from Rotterdam Junction and the other age 16 from Princetown, were charged with multiple misdemeanors.
They are accused of throwing the rocks at four large commercial trucks June 23. The trucks had their windshields broken.
Then, on Aug. 17, the teens are accused of doing it again, breaking the windshield of another large commercial truck in the same area, the Rynex Corners Road overpass.
In the recent case, the driver pulled over and spotted two people running from the bridge.
Police credited help from the public in making the arrests.
The teens each face four counts of second-degree reckless endangerment and fourth-degree criminal mischief, all misdemeanors.
They are to be arraigned later.
