A Schenectady man faces prison time after admitting to driving drunk, the Albany County District Attorney’s Office said.
Brian Lillard, 43, pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count of felony driving while intoxicated.
He admitted to driving drunk July 21 at the intersection of Henry Johnson Boulevard and Livingston Avenue.
He was pulled over for driving without headlights. Instead of stopping, though, he drove onto Interstate 90 and was clocked driving at 83 mph before he stopped.
Lillard’s blood alcohol content was tested at 0.12 percent. He was driving without a license and without the ignition interlock device required due to a previous drunken driving conviction.
He also possessed a small amount of marijuana, officials said.
Lillard faces up to five years in state prison when sentenced Oct. 8.
