A Corinth man was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Thursday morning, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

John M. Lewis, 68, of Fuller Road lost control of his 2004 Harley Davidson while approaching a construction zone on Spier Falls Road at 9:04 a.m., deputies said.

Lewis was flown by helicopter to Albany Medical Center for treatment of what deputies said were serious injuries. They said he is expected to be charged with operating at an unreasonable speed.

The Corinth Fire Department and Jessup’s Landing Emergency Squad assisted at the scene.
