Authorities said a Lake Luzerne woman is facing drunken driving charges after she struck and killed a local man on Route 9N early Friday morning.
Malina M. Singh, 20, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, in addition to misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated and driving with a blood alcohol content about 0.08 percent –both misdemeanors, according to Sgt. Shawn Glass of the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department.
Investigators said Singh struck 35-year-old Jonathan L. Rogers of Corinth near the Antone Mountain Road intersection around 3:13 a.m. Responding deputies attempted to resuscitate Rogers, who was then taken to Saratoga Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Glass said an investigation is ongoing.
