Drivers, be cautious while traveling on Route 146 this coming week.
Beginning Monday, the New York State Department of Transportation will pave a four-mile stretch of the road at night, from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., in Clifton Park and Rexford.
A single lane of traffic will be controlled by flagging personnel. The DOT will also resurface the intersection of Glenridge Road and Blue Barns Road, and some small sections of those two roadways.
As always, speeding fines are doubled in the construction zones.
The work is necessary because of damage from last winter’s harsh conditions. The current project’s schedule will depend upon weather.
