A Broadalbin man faces a felony charge after he allegedly took possession of about 12 pounds of marijuana that was mailed to a Johnstown residence.
Fulton County sheriff’s deputies said Joshua Rigo, 34, was arrested shortly after leaving the residence on Steele Avenue Extension at about 5 p.m. Friday and charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class C felony.
His arrest followed an investigation by the sheriff’s office and the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.
Rigo was arraigned in Johnstown Town Court and sent to Fulton County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are pending.
