Gloversville man accused of hitting neighbor, 7, with rock

A Gloversville man threw rocks into a neighboring yard he knew was occupied by two children, hitting

A Gloversville man threw rocks into a neighboring yard he knew was occupied by two children, hitting one of the boys, police said.

The boy struck, age 7, wasn’t injured seriously, police said.

Eric S. Taylor, 20, of Forest Street, was arrested Monday. He faces one count each of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree reckless endangerment, misdemeanors.

Taylor is accused of throwing driveway rocks into a neighboring back yard on Yale Street Sept. 27, knowing a 7-year-old and a 13-year-old were there, police said.

The police were aided in their investigation by several witnesses who came forward to give statements, police said.

Taylor was arraigned and ordered held on $750 bail.
