Colonie police are seeking the public’s help in identifying four people alleged to have stolen more

Colonie police are seeking the public’s help in identifying four people alleged to have stolen more than $62,000 worth of jewelry from Mach’s Treasures.

Police were called to the store at 1274 Central Ave. about 10:15 a.m. Thursday after employees learned of the theft.

The stolen items include rings, pins, watches, bracelets, necklaces and earrings being held at Mach’s Treasure on consignment from Phillip Alexander Jewelers on Albany Shaker Road.

The four suspects are described by police as:

u A white or Hispanic male, 5-foot-4 and weighing about 160 pounds, wearing a black beret, blue jeans and a light-colored, short-sleeve, button-up shirt

u A white male, weighing approximately 200 pounds, wearing a blue baseball-style hat, blue hooded jacket and blue jeans

u A white or Hispanic male, also weighing about 200 pounds, wearing a blue Adidas baseball hat, blue zippered jacket and blue jeans

u A white or Hispanic female with long straight dark hair, wearing a blue long-sleeved collared shirt or jacket, blue jeans and Uggs-style brown boots
