A Glenville man has been charged with burglarizing a village restaurant in the early morning of Oct. 25, Scotia police said.

Raymond Tozer, 26, of 129 Viele Road, was arrested Oct. 29.

He is accused of breaking into Giovanni’s on Sacandaga Road and stealing money and a laptop computer.

Tozer was charged with the felonies of third degree burglary, fourth degree grand larceny and third degree criminal mischief, as well as the misdemeanor of petit larceny.

In addition, he was charged with the misdemeanor of third degree criminal tampering for throwing newspapers that had been left at the front door of a neighboring gas station on its roof.

Tozer was arraigned in village court and remanded to the Schenectady County Jail on $20,000 bail.
