A Halfmoon man was indicted on a felony assault charge accusing him of breaking a 3-month-old infant

A Halfmoon man was indicted on a felony assault charge accusing him of breaking a 3-month-old infant’s leg.

Connor Ash, 19, was indicted on felony second-degree assault and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a minor charges. He was originally arrested on New Year’s Day by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said Ash was watching his infant son when he forcefully grabbed his leg, causing a displaced midshaft femur fracture. Staff at the Medical Center of Clifton Park reported the injury to the Sheriff’s Office.
