Proctors has added dozens of new shows for the fall, winter and spring.

Soul and gospel singer Mavis Staples, trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and eclectic contemporary jazz ensemble TriBeCaStan will be visiting Proctors later this year, along with dozens of new events announced Monday by the downtown arts venue.

The list includes movies, comedy, theater and music, and adds to the previously announced lineup of theater, music and dance performances.

Among the new shows are:

Sat. Oct. 3: Laurie Berkner Band (children), 11 a.m. Mainstage, $45-$20.

Sat. Oct. 3: “The Princess Bride: An Inconceivable Evening with Cary Elwes,” 7:30 p.m. Mainstage, $85-20.

Tues. Oct. 6: The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, featuring Wynton Marsalis, 7:30 p.m. Mainstage, $75-$20.

Fri. Oct. 9: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience (tribute production), 8 p.m. $50-$20.

Fri. Nov. 6: Solid Soul Tour, featuring Mavis Staples and Joan Osborne, 8 p.m. Mainstage, $70-$20.

Fri. Nov. 13: “Vampyr!” (1932 film) with guitarist Gary Lucas playing his original score. 7:30 p.m. GE Theatre, $15.

Sat. Nov. 14, “Groovin’: A ’60s & ’70s Musical Journey,” 7 p.m. Mainstage, $35-$20.
