The Saratoga County Republican Committee endorsed candidates for state Supreme Court and county coroner at a meeting Monday.
The committee endorsed Martin Auffredou and Mary Farley for Supreme Court seats in the Fourth Judicial District, which stretches from Schenectady to the Canadian border.
Daniel Kyhn was endorsed for coroner, Saratoga County Republican Chairman John Herrick said.
Auffredou, who lives in Queenbury, is the Warren County attorney and an arbitrator for the New York State Unified Court System Attorney Fee Dispute Resolution Program. He is a registered Conservative.
Farley, a registered Republican, is currently principal law clerk to state Supreme Court Justice David Demarest in St. Lawrence County. She lives in Gouverneur, though she previously practiced in Albany.
Kuhn, who was recently appointed coroner after the retirement of Thomas Salvadore, is a former sheriff’s deputy and investigator.
“Dan has the extensive law enforcement experience, detailed work ethic and respect and dignity needed for the position of coroner,” Herrick said.
