BALLSTON SPA — Ryan Reed scored on a two-run yard run in the third quarter, and Ballston Spa held off Christian Brothers Academy 14-12 in a Class AA game Friday night.

Zaire Royal ran for 92 yards on 18 carries to lead the Scotties, who opened the scoring in the second quarter with an 18-yard run by Ian Graham.

Brian Tucker scored on a four-yard run, and Joe Burke scored on a 56-yard TD strike from Taurian Taylor to lead the Brothers.
