Merjan Ozisik scored the game-winning goal with six minutes left Tuesday night to give Niskayuna a 1-0 Suburban Council win over Schenectady.

Ozisik scored from 22 yards out as the Silver Warriors had twice as many shots as the Patriots.

Colonie scored on an Averill Park own goal in the first half and held on for a 1-0 win. Colonie’s defense held the Warriors without a shot on goal.

Noah Keith scored twice, and Matt Crisafulli added a goal and an assist as CBA defeated Saratoga Springs 3-1.

Stephen Klimek scored the lone goal for the Blue Streaks.

Kyle Pfaff scored two goals and added an assist in Shenendehowa’s 5-0 win over Troy. Ky-Air Hamilton, Malik Sykes and Serge Clerveau also scored for the Plainsmen.

Abed Shahin and Ben Clark had both goals for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in the Spartans’ 2-1 win over Columbia. Nick Hitt and Justin Ariel has assists for the Spartans.

William Walkley scored for the Blue Devils.

Carter Haydock recorded a hat trick for Shaker in its 4-1 victory over Albany.

Dhimiter Cobani had the goal for the Falcons.

In the Western Athletic Conference, Mayfield came back to beat Northville 4-2 behind two goals by Ryan Davis. Taylor Madeiros and Anthony Brandow also scored for the Panthers.

Dan Reidell scored both goals for the Falcons.

In the Central Hudson Valley League, Loudonville Christian School took sole possesion of first place after a 2-1 win over Berlin. Tom Seeberger scored both goals, and Jacob Alesio had 12 saves for the Eagles.

Jordan Le led Waterford-Halfmoon with two goals as the Fordians defeated Heatly 4-1. Joey Esper-Vanier and Hunter Guertin also scored for the Fordians.

Marcel Walls scored the goal for the Hornets.

Girls’ soccer

In the Suburban Council, Meghan Cavanaugh scored three goals, and Kendra Herbinger added two more and also had an assist for Shenendehowa in its 7-1 win over Troy. The Plainsmen built a 5-0 lead at halftime.

Maddie Pinzer had 15 saves for the Flying Horses.

Holly Moore and Shannon Russo scored two goals each for Bethlehem in its 4-1 win over Ballston Spa. Miranda Manziano had five saves, and added an assist for the Eagles.

Rachel Parsons had the goal for the Scotties.

Alicia Bushey and Kaleigh Fowler both had first-half goals in Colonie’s 2-0 win over Averill Park. Clare Reilly had an assist for the Garnet Raiders.

Claire Millington had 12 saves for the Lady Warriors.

Marika Contompasis, Deidre Schutzman and Alana McNulty scored two goals each in Niskayuna’s 9-1 win over Schenectady. Hanna Munro, Izzy Lynch and Claire Karafanda also scored for the Silver Warriors.

Alexis Maye scored the goal, off an assist by Italia Marruso, for the Patriots.

Six different players scored for Shaker in its 6-0 win over Albany. Brooke Clough, Adrianna Macphee, Gabby Pouchak, Elizabeth Sacca, Erin Valente and Cait Wood had the goals.

Isabella Higgins recorded 15 saves for the Falcons.

Amanda Rice scored twice, and Claire Thompson added two assists for Guilderland in its 4-0 win over Mohonasen. Caroline Callender and Bree Ford also had goals for the Lady Dutch.

In the Foothills Council, Scotia-Glenville had five different players score a goal in the Tartans’ 5-0 win over Broadalbin-Perth. Abby O’Connor, Sydney Obman, Sydnee Smith, Paige Bailey and Lauren Zeglin had the goals for the Tartans.

Ashley Capron and Abby Bitner each scored a goal in Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s 2-1 win over Columbia. Anna Scott recorded eight saves for the Spartans.

Bridget Austin scored the goal for the Blue Devils.

In the Wasaren League, Keara LaFountain scored three goals with two assists, and Madalynn Garrone scored two goals and added an assist for Mechanicville in its 9-0 win over Granville. Mackenzie Bowie also contributed a goal, and added three assists for the Red Raiders.

Girls’ volleyball

Julia Paliwodzinski had 16 points, 20 assists and six aces, and Charlotte Macken contributed 16 digs in Shenendehowa’s 25-5, 25-5, 25-16 Suburban Council win over Troy.

Shannon Meyer recorded 18 digs, and Kaity Ludder had 10 kills for Averill Park in its 25-13, 25-15, 25-5 win over Colonie

Shelby Connors had 29 digs as Shaker defeated Albany 25-14, 25-22, 25-18.

Ivory Moore posted 10 digs for the Lady Falcons.

Rebecca Straubel posted 11 service points, six digs, four kills and four aces for Guilderland in its 25-13, 25-13, 25-10 win over Mohonasen. Teddi Palmer added 12 points and three aces for the Lady Dutch.

Diana Pinchuk had six kills and 11 blocks to go along with Jackie Budka’s 17 points and three aces for Niskayuna as the Silver Warriors topped Schenectady 25-14, 25-21, 25-13. Leila Nayar contributed 10 points and six kills for the Silver Warriors.

Taina Moya recorded nine points and four aces for the Patriots.

Ashlyn Kersh dished out 32 assists, and Laiken Fox had 20 kills and four aces as Ballston Spa defeated Bethlehem 25-21, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19.

Brooke Corbett had 26 digs and Julia Maniccia had 30 assists for the Eagles.

In the Foothills Council, Christina Pavlovsky had 11 assists, and Aspen Darling had nine aces for Gloversville in its 25-12, 25-13, 25-22 win over Amsterdam.

Jess Fowler had 20 assists and eight aces, and Natalie Albright had seven kills to lead Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake past Columbia 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.

Selena Lott had 11 kills and seven digs, and Shannon Ryan added seven kills for the Blue Devils.

Danille Gagnon fired in 10 aces and had five digs in Scotia-Glenville’s 25-13, 25-20, 25-6 win over Johnstown. Lauren Conley had 12 kills, and Morgan Adams contributed eight kills and eight assists for the Tartans.

Claire Guzielek had 15 assists for the Lady Bills.

In the Colonial Council, Gianna Cruz had nine aces and 19 points for Fonda-Fultonville as the Braves swept Cohoes 25-3, 25-12, 25-15. Hailey Etherton also had six aces for the Braves.

In the Western Athletic Conference, Rebecca Nichols lead Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons with 19 assists and nine digs as the Knights defeated Schoharie 25-10, 25-13, 25-20. Julie Nichols contributed 11 kills for ND-BG.

In non-league action, Hanna Bramer recorded 18 points, six aces and eight assists in Galway’s 25-19, 25-12, 25-18 win over Waterford-Halfmoon.

Courtney Formosa had 16 assists for the Fordians.

Bridget Naughton dished out 15 assists, and Delaney Bacher had seven digs for as Saratoga Central Catholic turned back Mechanicville 25-22, 23-25, 25-22, 25-16. Chloe Ethier contributed 10 points and three aces for the Saints.

Paige Phelan had six kills and as many digs for the Red Raiders.

Field hockey

In the Foothills Council, Taylor Linton scored the game-winning goal in overtime for Glens Falls as the Indians beat Queensbury 2-1. Kaycie Meade scored the other goal for the Indians.

Jill Rizzo had the lone goal for the Spartans.

In the Patroon Conference, Emma Willard defeat Ichabod Crane 2-0 on a pair of goals by Heidi Zahnleuter. Kat Fousek and Kaeley Stout had the assists for the Jesters.
