The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said today it continues to investigate the disappearance of Saratoga Town Councilman Fred "Fritzie" Drumm but has no new information in the case.
Drumm, 68, of Burgoyne Road, was reported missing by his family on Nov. 25. The hunter and outdoorsman was believed to have left home on foot.
An area of nearly 1,200 acres around the family farm involved more than 200 people and was searched by members of various Saratoga County fire agencies, the New York State Federation of Search and Rescue Teams, members of the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, and the New York State DEC Forest Rangers.
"The search thus far has not yielded any evidence into the disappearance of Mr. Drumm," deputies said today.
Drumm has served on the Town Board for the past 16 years, but decided earlier this year not to seek re-election. His term in office ends Dec. 31.
Anyone with information about Drumm's possible whereabouts is asked to contact the sheriff's office at (518) 885-6761.
