Zac O’Dell collected 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Schalmont raced past Fonda-Fultonville 79-36 in a Colonial Council basketball game Monday night.

Schalmont honored its Ron Osinski-led state Class B final four team as part of the evening’s festivities.

Frank Parisi scored 13 points for the Sabres (5-1, 6-3), and Matt Bird had 12 points and 10 rebounds. Dan Parslow netted 11 points for the Braves.

Schalmont bounced back from its first league loss after letting a fourth-quarter lead get away Friday against Voorheesville.

Deonte Holder led five double-digit Mekeel Christian Academy scorers with 23 points, and the Lions went to 6-0 with an 84-61 non-league win over Schuylerville.

Kevin Braye delivered 17 points for Mekeel, Carter Stewart had 16, Oscar Iteji notched 13 and Scott Voelker chipped in with 11. Clay Patrick and Zach Pierce paced the Black Horses with 17 and 16 points, respectively.

Joe Girard III scored 20 points, and Tony Green put in seven of his 13 in a 21-7 second-quarter run as Glens Falls defeated Bishop Maginn 69-45.

Joey Ward scored 13 points for the Golden Griffins.

Davonte Jones scored six of his 19 points in overtime, lifting Lansingburgh to an 80-75 non-league win over Queensbury.

Jahidi Wallace scored 29 points and Anthony Kempster had 16 for the Knights. Wallace’s basket tied the game at 69 and forced overtime with three seconds left.

Brett Rodriguez had 28 points for Queensbury, which dipped to 7-1.

Dan Ryan and Lucas Jetty clicked for 16 points apiece, and Danny Reidell totaled 15 points and 16 rebounds as Northville beat North Warren 58-42.

Kobe Lufkin hit seven threes as part of a 32-point performance, and Argyle defeated Saratoga Central Catholic 88-75.

Connor Farrington led the Saints with 32 points, and Peter Francamano fired in 19.

Tommy Gates knocked down six threes in a 22-point outing, and Brendan Gifford put in 18 points as Mayfield beat Dolgeville 74-48.

GIRLS

Madison Graber scored 16 points, and Schalmont withstood a late Fonda-Fultonville push in a 44-41 Colonial Council win.

Sydnee Metzold backed Graber with 11 points. Miranda Nethaway led the Lady Braves with 16.

Emily Padalino scored 26 points as Albany Academy held off Cobleskill-Richmondville 47-44.

Mollie Laniado scored 13 points for Academy. Allie Pacatte scored 15 points for Cobleskill, and Lauren Hill scored 14.

Claire Guzielek led a balanced effort with nine points, and Johnstown used a 17-7 third-quarter spurt to turn back Queensbury 52-42 in a Foothills Council game.

Emma Hayes led the Spartans with 14 points.

Bri McKinney and Sophie Lebrun scored nine points apiece in Hudson Falls’ 42-20 non-league win over Tamarac.
