Mohonasen High School and Draper Middle School were placed under lockout at approximately 2:45 this afternoon based on information received from police, but the lockout has been lifted, according to two postings on the Mohonasen Central School District's Facebook page.

The lockout came after students were dismissed from the high school and middle school this afternoon. The first Facebook posting said police do not believe this was a credible threat to students and continue to investigate.

The second posting, which came about a half-hour ago, said all students have been released.

"Police have deemed both schools safe but will be present as any students who stayed after school board late buses and leave school grounds," according to the posting.

No other information on the lockout was immediately available.
