The National Weather Service in Albany reported the 1 p.m. temperature was 55 degrees, a far cry from the noontime reading of 36.
Fifty-five marked the high for the day; it was duplicated at about 3 p.m.
Tuesday's low was 19, recorded at about 1 a.m., according to the weather service.
The high Wednesday is forecast to be 37 degrees, under partly sunny skies. The low will be about 20, and no precipitation is forecast for the day.
