BALTIMORE — Kyle McClancy scored in overtime to give the UAlbany men 15-14 victory over UMBC Saturday afternoon, as the Great Danes earned their fourth straight perfect America East regular season.

UAlbany (6-0, 12-2) appeared to have the game well in hand, leading 13-8 after three quarters, but UMBC outscored the Great Danes 6-1 in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

“Give [UMBC] a ton of credit for sticking with their gameplan and playing really hard in the second half,” UAlbany coach Scott Marr said.

UAlbany is the first program to earn a perfect America East regular season four straight times since Hofstra from 1995-98. UAlbany has won its last 22 America East regular season games and 28 games against America East opponents.

Seth Oakes tied a career-high with six goals, while Connor Fields had three goals and three assists.

For UMBC (4-10, 1-5 AE), Nate Lewnes set a program record with 10 goals, including the final four for the Retrievers.

UAlbany will now get set for the America East tournament, playing in its first game on 7 p.m. Thursday at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.

Monmouth 14, Siena 13 (OT)

LOUDONVILLE — Hunter Jones scored the game-tying man-up goal with 79 seconds remaining in regulation and Eric Berger netted the decisive tally 45 seconds into overtime as Monmouth captured the fourth and final MAAC Tournament berth with a victory over Siena.

The teams had entered the regular-season finale in a three-way tie for fourth in the conference standings with Detroit.

Sophomore midfielder Brian Prunty scored three goals for the Saints, which finished the season at 2-4 in the MAAC and 3-10 overall.

ALBANY — Courtney Murphy and Dorrien Van Dyke each scored four goals as No. 7 Stony Brook locked up the top seed for the America East tournament.

The Seawolves (14-3, 6-0 AE) will host the league tournament, beginning Friday. The Great Danes (10-5, 5-1) are the No. 2 seed and will face UMBC (9-7, 3-3) in the semifinals at 7:30 Friday.
